Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) resin is a heavy polymer. Appearance is usually white or yellowish flocculent, flake, granular or powder.
PVA is non-toxic, odorless and non-polluting. PVA is a water-soluble resin with good chemical stability. It also has good adhesion, film-forming ability, insulation, oil resistance, abrasion resistance and gas barrier properties. It has typical chemical properties of polyols and can undergo esterification, etherification and acetalization reactions.
Our functional nonwovens use high-tech wet-laid processes (wet-laid nonwovens), impregnation processes (impregnated nonwovens) and water-soluble nonwovens. It is mainly based on our various high performance polyethylene and functional vinylon fibers.
