Multi-Filament Yarn is the engineering marvel that enables the high-speed performance of modern embroidery. Unlike "Spun" yarns, which are made by twisting short, fuzzy fibers together (like cotton or wool), Multi-Filament yarn is created by extruding dozens of continuous, microscopic filaments and bundling them into a single, cohesive thread. At Shaoxing Qiufei Textile Technology, our multi-filament threads—primarily our Trilobal Polyester and Viscose Rayon—are the result of advanced polymer science. Each 120D/2 thread is actually composed of 40 to 48 individual filaments. This construction is what gives the thread its immense tensile strength, extreme smoothness, and lack of "Lint," which are the three non-negotiable requirements for industrial embroidery.
