Environmental Testing: Every batch is tested in a "Weather-Ometer" to simulate 2,000 hours of direct sunlight, ensuring zero structural degradation in the cabin environment.
Application
Automotive Interior Thread is used throughout the vehicle cabin. Its most prominent use is in Seat Upholstery and Contrast Stitching, where it provides both structural seams and decorative accents on leather and fabric seats. Steering Wheels and Gear Shifters use bonded nylon for its superior hand-feel and abrasion resistance, as these parts are touched constantly.
Dashboard and Door Panels utilize UV-stabilized thread for decorative embroidery and top-stitching that remains visible through the windshield. Safety Systems, including Airbags and Seatbelts, require technical threads with specific burst-strength parameters. Floor Mats and Carpeting use heavy-duty polyester (T-135) to withstand the extreme abrasion from footwear and cleaning. Additionally, Child Safety Seats utilize our non-toxic, high-strength threads for critical structural integrity. Finally, the Marine and RV markets use our automotive-grade threads for exterior seating and awnings, where salt-spray and UV exposure are at their highest.
